REGION ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS - DETAILS & ENTRIES

The Region Championships will take place in eight (8) Regions across NSW.  The Region Championships are a progression from the Zone Championships.  Our Region, Region 2, is made up of four (4) local Zones - Port Hunter, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Hunter.

The top two (2) athletes in each event at Region Championships will automatically qualify to compete at the NSW State Championships to be held at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre (SOPAC) in March 2027.  The next-best eight (8) athletes will be progressively added to the qualifying list as all eight (8) Region Championships are completed by the end of February.
